  • Oooops, Congress still pray before a session. It would appear that it's "freedom of religion" not "guaranteed complete freedom FROM religion". So we are still free to pray to the flying spaghetti monster or whichever fantasy creature that we wish, or not pray to anything.

  • As an athiest, I've seen the door to door christians where I live but none of them try to shove it down my throat. I tell them that I am athiest and they are not changing my mind and the vast majority thank me for my time and leave.

  • As an athiest and Army veteran, I agree with you! I'm not easily offended by words such as "God" or "Christ" or "Allah" any more than I am offended by the word "unicorn". I don't even have a problem with God on the money or in the pledge.

  • Also, as an athiest I really don't have a problem with Christian prayer, Muslim prayer, Jewish prayer, Barney the purple Dinosaur prayer, in school. Just allow children to decide which prayer, or no prayer. Different homerooms for different religions and one homeroom no religion/other.
